I am fortunate to live and create in Churchton, Maryland and Riverport, Nova Scotia. Originally an oil painter, I now paint primarily with acrylics. Most of my paintings are a close view of the natural world. For me the process of painting is where the joy lies. I lose myself in creating the composition, the form, and the texture.

I have a boundless love of nature and find special inspiration in painting sky and water. Occasionally I venture into figurative work, often of animals and less often people. Drawing from the human form is also something that I enjoy. 

I’m currently Vice President and one of the founders of the Arts Lab, where I am also a resident artist member.
