Explore your creativity through our diverse range of classes and events. From painting to pottery, there's something for everyone to enjoy and learn at Arts Lab.
Beginning Wheel
In this class, students will learn about the properties of clay and glaze materials. Through discussion, demonstration and hands-on experience, we will explore how the material moves and how to control it. Focus will be on bowl forms and throwing off the hump. Personal style and glaze application solutions will also be introduced.
Hand Building
In this 6 week class you will explore pinch, coil, and slab processes to make bowls and vases. You will also learn how to make and use sprig molds for surface decoration. We will talk about glaze processes and personal style.
A Date With Clay
A fun, no-fail date night for you, your partner, your BFF or friend group at Arts Lab, Clay on the Bay studio. Have fun and learn pottery basics and try your hand at throwing pottery on the wheel.
*The pot will be bisque fired, glazed, re-fired and ready for pick-up three to four weeks after the event.
